NASA Astronaut Tracy C. Dyson Safely Returns After 6-Month ISS Mission

On Monday, NASA astronaut Tracy C. Over the span of 184 days in space, Dyson orbited the Earth 2,944 times, traveling a remarkable 78 million miles. Her contributions extended beyond research; she also participated in one spacewalk, which lasted 31 minutes, bringing her career total to 23 hours and 20 minutes across four spacewalks.

Dyson’s experience in spaceflight is well-documented, with this mission being her third. Return to Earth
Following their successful landing and initial health evaluations in Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, the crew was transferred to Karaganda, the recovery staging city, where they are receiving further medical assessments. From there, Dyson will board a NASA aircraft that will take her back to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, where she will undergo additional debriefings and recovery protocols.
