Saudi Arabia Declares All Clear in Four Areas After Safety Alerts
ISTANBUL — October 24, 2026
Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense announced on Saturday that the threat had passed in four areas of the kingdom following earlier alerts warning residents of potential danger.
The all-clear announcement covered the governorates of Jeddah, Taif and Yanbu, along with Mecca province, according to statements published by the Civil Defense on X.
Authorities urged residents to continue following official safety instructions and advised people to avoid gathering in affected locations or recording footage of the situation.
The earlier warnings were issued amid escalating hostilities involving Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi group, including reported missile and drone attacks targeting the kingdom.
Although authorities have declared the immediate danger over in the four areas, residents have been encouraged to remain attentive to official announcements and comply with any further safety guidance.
