Two Palestinians Killed in Latest Israeli Attacks Across Gaza

GAZA CITY, Palestine / ISTANBUL — October 24, 2026

Two Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and four others injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to medical sources cited by Anadolu. The incidents occurred amid continued reported violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025.

Medical sources identified the woman killed in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia as Fatima Abu Laban. She died after being struck by Israeli gunfire in the Tal al-Dhahab area. Another Palestinian woman sustained a gunshot wound to her neck in the same town.

In a separate incident, Mohammad Anan al-Rawagh, a young Palestinian man, was killed in an Israeli strike targeting the al-Rimal neighbourhood west of Gaza City. Three other people were injured, including one who sustained serious wounds.

Witnesses reported that an Israeli drone launched at least one missile at people passing near Palestine Stadium in al-Rimal.

Further incidents were reported in eastern Gaza City. At dawn on Saturday, Israeli drones dropped explosive devices on homes that residents had evacuated in the al-Tuffah neighbourhood, near areas under Israeli military control. Local sources also reported heavy gunfire from military vehicles in the surrounding area.

Meanwhile, Israeli naval vessels fired gunshots and shells towards Gaza City’s coastline. No injuries were reported in the coastal incident, according to local sources.

Figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry on Saturday indicate that Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,547 Palestinians and injured another 5,559 since the truce began.

The latest violence comes against the backdrop of the devastating conflict that began in October 2023. According to the figures cited in the report, Israel’s military campaign has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000. The conflict has also caused extensive destruction across the territory, damaging or destroying approximately 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
