Netanyahu: Iran’s Nuclear Program Top Concern

During a recent address, Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s commitment to dismantling the “axis of evil” it faces through strategic actions. He declared that terrorist groups like Hamas would no longer have control in Gaza and that Hezbollah would not remain positioned close to Israel’s northern border. Netanyahu stated that Israel is actively disrupting Iran’s arms supply routes to Hezbollah via Syria.

He dismissed the relevance of previous agreements, such as UN resolutions 1701 and 1559, arguing that the focus should be on Israel’s ability to ensure its security and prevent attacks from its adversaries, regardless of external pressures.

On the topic of Iran, Netanyahu claimed that Israel has gained unprecedented operational freedom within the country and is capable of conducting necessary actions. He reaffirmed that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is the top priority for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and security services, maintaining that this goal remains firmly in focus, though he could not disclose specific plans to achieve it.
