Netanyahu Leads Efforts to Combat Crime in Arab Sector

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened the subcommittee on combating crime in the Arab sector at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem. Two major initiatives were outlined:

  1. Legislation: A new law is being developed to tackle the influence of criminal organizations in the construction industry, a significant issue impacting the economy.
  2. Administrative Action: Roi Kahlon, head of the PMO staff for fighting crime in the Arab sector, will lead two inter-ministerial committees focusing on enforcement and socio-economic measures.
