New Affordable Flights Connect Turkey with Albania’s Capital

AJet Introduces Direct Flights to Tirana from Istanbul and Ankara

Turkish Low-Cost Airline AJet Begins Direct Flights to Tirana

ISTANBUL – Turkish budget carrier AJet announced on Wednesday that it will launch direct flights to Tirana, the capital of Albania, from both Istanbul and Ankara.

The new routes will start in March 2026. Flights from Istanbul will operate five times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays—beginning March 2. From Ankara, the airline will offer two weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays, starting March 5.

Passengers can book the Istanbul–Tirana route from $35, according to AJet. The airline emphasized that March is an ideal time to visit Tirana, offering a calmer experience before the city becomes busier in spring.

Tirana’s Skanderbeg Square and nearby landmarks provide a great chance to experience the city’s cultural and historical character. The airline highlighted the city’s open spaces, central squares, and lively everyday rhythm as key attractions for travelers.

With these new direct flights, AJet aims to make travel between Turkey and Albania easier and more affordable for tourists and business travelers alike.
