A high level meeting arranged by Brazil, Canada, Italy and Egypt to figure out the affects of COVID-19 on food supply.
Worldwide News: Emanuela Claudia Del Re, vice minister of foreign affairs of Italy, Karina Gould, minister of international development of Canada, Orlando Leite Ribeiro, vice minister for trade and international relations of the ministry of Agriculture Livestock and food supply, and Egypt ambassador to UN, Mohamed Edrees and all chiefs had a video conference to discuss the food problems caused by COVID-19. In which they said that now the big issue for our society is the shortage of food. Governments have to stop all non essential operation and just focus on food supply.
The local ctizens have no sources of income as a result they don’t have money to buy food for themselves.
The big food companies are also bearing this shortage due to this pandemic COVID-19. When big cities lockdown their land, the locals have to face dangers because they earn from markets and shops but due to lockdown they don’t have much resources to fulfill their needs. Major issue is that when land is lockdown, farmers can’t plough which causes drought. The food trade also stops. So we have to work together in this tribulation, and take care of our locals.
