Zelenskyy Warns of Possible Major Russian Strikes

Zelenskyy Raises Alarm Over Escalation and Border Tensions

Zelenskyy Warns of Imminent Russian Strikes and Accuses Belarus of Involvement in War Effort

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia may be preparing a large-scale attack in the coming days and urged civilians across Ukraine to remain highly alert during air raid warnings.

In his nightly address, Zelenskyy said Ukrainian intelligence suggests the possibility of a “massive strike” and emphasized the need for increased vigilance as Russian attacks continue across multiple regions of the country, resulting in civilian casualties.

He also confirmed that Ukrainian forces carried out what he described as a successful strike on an oil refinery in Russia’s Tyumen region, presenting it as part of Ukraine’s ongoing defensive operations.

Zelenskyy further accused Russia of expanding the conflict by involving Belarus, warning that such developments could lead to “extremely dangerous” consequences for regional stability. He claimed Belarusian territory is being used in ways that assist Russian military operations, including the deployment of equipment allegedly used to support drone targeting.

According to Zelenskyy, Belarus has the opportunity to remove such equipment, which he said is located near the Ukrainian border and contributes to precision strikes against Ukrainian positions.

He also pointed to increased energy trade between Belarus and Russia, claiming significant rises in fuel and diesel shipments, which he argued further strengthen Moscow’s war capabilities.

In a recent statement, Zelenskyy warned Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko that Ukraine could take action if the alleged systems are not removed, giving what he described as a limited timeframe for compliance.

The remarks reflect escalating tensions in the region as the war continues, with both sides increasing military and rhetorical pressure amid ongoing cross-border attacks.
