The UN rights chief has issued a pressing call for action to address the spiraling crisis in eastern DR Congo, where violence and unrest have reached a boiling point. The region, gripped by relentless conflict, faces a humanitarian disaster as armed groups clash and civilians are caught in the crossfire.
Describing the situation as “a house on fire,” the UN warns that failure to act swiftly could result in unimaginable suffering. Communities have been shattered, with thousands displaced from their homes, living in fear of escalating violence.
