ISLAMABAD, July 8, 2025:
China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) Chief of Staff, Lt General Wang Gang, lauded the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its professionalism and strategic vision during a visit to Air Headquarters in Islamabad.
During his meeting with Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the Chinese delegation praised PAF’s performance in the recent conflict with India and its advanced integration of Multi-Domain Operations (MDO).
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), discussions focused on mutual interests, regional security, and boosting bilateral cooperation in airpower and operational synergy. Lt Gen Gang expressed PLAAF’s strong interest in learning from the PAF’s battle-tested MDO capabilities, calling them a benchmark in modern aerial warfare.
The visit reflects the growing defence collaboration between China and Pakistan, especially in the realm of modern air combat and strategic coordination.
The Chinese delegation’s visit is seen as a reaffirmation of close military ties and a step forward in enhancing operational integration between the two air forces.
