US President Donald Trump has authorized multiple pipeline permits aimed at strengthening the transport of crude oil and petroleum products between the United States and Canada, according to documents released by the White House.
Among the approvals is a permit granted to Bakken Pipeline Company for the construction of new pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota. The move is part of a broader strategy to enhance cross-border energy infrastructure.
Additional permits were issued for the continued operation and maintenance of existing pipelines. Bakken Pipeline Company received authorization for facilities in Burke County, while Enbridge Energy secured approvals for operations in St Clair County, Michigan, as well as Pembina County, North Dakota.
The developments signal ongoing efforts to expand energy connectivity and maintain critical supply routes between the two countries.
