WASHINGTON: On Friday, The United States persists its drawdown of armed forces from Afghanistan. U.S is doing all expected to meet a timeline that earlier this year had been agreed upon with the Taliban.
“That keeps going forward. We within the timeline laid out under the agreement with the Taliban, expect to meet that” Pentagon spokesperson Jonathan Hoffman explained during a press briefing.
Hoffman made the comment quickly after two brutal attacks happened in Afghanistan this week claiming many lives, though it’s believed that the attacks were carried out by the Islamic State
