Debris from a ballistic missile intercepted by Saudi air defenses caused property damage in southern Saudi Arabia on Thursday, according to the country’s Civil Defense authorities.
A Civil Defense spokesperson said missile fragments fell in Khamis Mushait after the projectile was launched by Yemen’s Houthis toward residential areas.
The falling debris damaged several buildings and vehicles in the area, the spokesperson said.
Authorities reported no casualties following the incident.
