Nvidia Partners With Montreal Firm to Build AI Servers in Canada
Canada, 10 April 2026 – Nvidia, a global leader in artificial intelligence computing, has selected a Montreal-based company to produce AI servers domestically.
Ciara Technologies, a division of the Hypertec Group, announced Thursday that it has become Nvidia’s first Canadian OEM Partner authorized to manufacture AI systems in the country.
Through Ciara, Hypertec will produce Nvidia-certified AI servers, offering enterprises, researchers, and public institutions a secure domestic infrastructure option.
“AI infrastructure is now strategic infrastructure,” said Simon Ahdoot, CEO of Hypertec Group. “This milestone marks a turning point for Canada. As Nvidia’s first Canadian OEM partner, we are building the high-performance systems that will define the country’s future.
